We have been very fortunate the past two years to have support of various businesses in Kilkenny for our LCA Work Experience placement. This year, we have a large group that we are trying to find experience for. This is a very important part of the program for the students. With that in mind-  If out and about don’t forget to support the businesses that have helped us up to now. This will not only encourage their continued support but also possibly encourage others, to see the benefits of offering the use of their business.

As part of Module 1 in Hotel, Catering & Tourism (HCT), LCA1 had to survey the quantity of the various fast food eateries in Kilkenny Town. They will have to carry out an investigation into their assigned style of fast food eatery.

Not to waste the sunny day- we also checked out the Castle Rose Garden, the Library, Craft Council Japanese Inspired Fashion Exhibit!
