Josh’s Blog Update
As we busily head towards the end of our final term for School of the Holy Spirit, as well conducting our final week in preparations for next year, it’s vital to acknowledge the tremendous work and input contributed to all students of our school.
Josh’s Blog Update
Yesterday was a proud and emotional event for final Leaving Certificate students of School of the Holy Spirit, as they have successfully headed towards their completion of the LCA programme, as well as their time in this school. Their completion was followed by an exquisite ‘Debs and Grads’ ceremony, celebrating their years of grand contributions to our school. We wish them all the very best of luck in their futures as they aspire for great opportunities in life.
BBQ
Class 13 had a great last full day before the Summer Holidays. We chilled out, listened to some music and had a BBQ & some ice pops. Very relaxing and enjoyable day in the shade. We were all delighted to see Cian for a quick visit.
School Tours 2018
The Senior School had loads of fun on their school tours this year. Some enjoyed Foot golf & paintball, others visited Dunmore Caves and Class 11 went to the Beach! Everyone had a great time.
That’s a Wrap!

Ms Houlihan’s Orienteering Challenge
Everybody loved the 40 question orienteering challenge Ms Houlihan prepared for Active School’s Week especially as it brought the students past where the old school was located. The amazing sunshine was an added bonus!
We also had fun with up and walking- 12km!!! dance, swimming and rounders.
LCA1- Catering For Diversity
LCA 1 as part of their HCT class had to work in pairs, research a chosen cultural cuisine, identify their selection of products available inn the supermarket and then prepare a dish together (from their chosen country) to serve to the class.
The dishes turned out great!
China- Joe prepared Duck (with some homemade chips!)
Mexico- Jake and Dion prepared Quesadillas with ham & cheese- they made the Tortillas from scratch!
India- Niamh and Ryan made Chicken Korma with Rice
Italy- Jack and Cian made Spaghetti Bolognese
