The five reps from our school to the AGM were Shane, Aaron, Ciaran, Alex and Nathan. They did an outstanding job as reps. They shared excellent ideas and participated in every aspect of the day. Well Done!

LCA1 prepared two bagel options in cooking class last wk- peanut butter with banana or bacon, sausage and egg bagel. Of course we had to try both!

The Student Council organised a Chess Tournament.

Everyone enjoyed the first round.

Round 2 will be commencing after Midterm.

As will a basketball tournament.

Also the Student Council were super as their class reps recently as they (very appropriately) argued for a return to the old system at break time. They were successful. The old system has returned!!! 😁😁

LCA1 are enjoying their cooking classes. This week we branched out and tried our hand at Tapas.

They were delicious!!! It was a feast 😁

The LCA1 have planned an exciting week of events for the Senior School on the ‘Importance of Exercise for your Health’

We kicked off day 1 with an information afternoon in the hall. The Senior School were invited to come and read about all the research Class 13 (3rd years included 😁) did on all the areas involved in the importance of exercise in our lives. 

The 6th year students did an excellent job presenting their individual tasks Friday afternoon. The topics were varied and very interesting. There was a great turn out from the entire Senior School.

School/Community Events – 17/10/18

Next week is Exercise Wellbeing & Awareness Week which is being organized by L.C.A1 in which each day there is a different event going on.

On Monday the 22^nd there is an information afternoon in the Hall from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.

On Tuesday the 23^rd there is an Exercise class in the Hall from 2:00 to 2:30 PM.

On Wednesday the 24^th  The LCA running club will be running from the school to the Callan Rd.Roundabout at 12:30 PM.

On Thursday the 25^th there is a Student VS Staff Rounder’s @ SOS Field from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.

On Friday 26^th There is a guest speaker coming in called Peter Gowan in Class 13 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.

This Thursday Dylan, Jack and Dion are playing in a soccer blitz against different NLN Centers around Leinster  for NLN Carlow and Kilkenny respectfully.
