The Yawn of the Cat by Emer Browne
Once upon a time there was a girl called Amaya who as everyone said yawned like a cat .Amaya just couldn’t help it because that was the way she yawned.
One day she thought ‘maybe it is for a reason, why would I yawn like a cat for no reason?’ I know I will be rich and famous for my yawn, that’s probably why I have it.’’
So Amaya grew up and started to follow her dreams of being an actress .
She did a lot of auditions and was offered a part in the film series Harry Potter but on the first day she was kicked out of that because of her yawn. After seeing how much success Harry Potter had she was about to move back to Ireland when her phone rang. ‘Hello, is this Amaya Rose? This is the dictator of the new movie called Cats and we heard all about your yawn. Would you like to audition?’
Amaya said yes and starred in Cats. The new one was bad but everyone loved her and she got more roles like the 15th Doctor in Doctor Who, Jane West in the Victorious reboot,the good witch of the east in the Wizard of Oz Comes to Las Vegas and much more.
So sometimes having a talent like that pays off in the end.
